Clinical Support Consultant
The role of the clinical consultant is to function as the technical expert on our innovative 4D and 5D product offerings to Ziosoft current and prospective customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Present clinical /radiology demonstrations
- Perform basic installation and configuration of Ziosoft products
- Customize software modules for individual user sites
- Develop strong clinical site customer relationships to better understand the needs and perspectives of doctors and other members of the medical and IT community
- Provide technical, scientific and educational consultation to researchers, physicians and other clinical professionals
- Apply solution oriented skills to support users for workflow efficiency, image creation and related tasks
- Master and understand all aspects of our complex software
- Drive internal collaboration with marketing, sales, engineering, and regulatory teams
- Work with field sales, clinical applications, and customers to define, recommend, and prioritize new features for evaluation by product management, design, regulatory and engineering teams
- Maintain expertise in the advanced visualization market by attending conferences to evaluate the current state-of-the-art and anticipate changing needs of the market
- Participate in developing group/individual goals and objectives
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment
Skill set should include:
- IT knowledge – ability to handle intermediate desktop support activities, VPN, standard network installations and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to master sophisticated imaging software and convey its applicability to the medical community

Clinical Engineering Applications Scientist
The role of the specialist will be the "eyes and ears" of the engineering team in support of our medical community base …to inform our engineering development team of the needs of radiologists /cardiologists at medical facilities (our customer base).The desired experiences should include a solid knowledge of CT and preferably MRI processes and procedures.
Skill set should include:
- 3 - 5 years CT/MR technologist experience
- Thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols, 3D advanced visualization, and healthcare IT (e.g. PACS) workflow.
- Keen desire to learn a sophisticated software-based product and adapt it to customer needs and workflow.
- Customer oriented mentality
- Organized and Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willingness to travel 40% of the time.
Highly Preferred Skill Sets:
- Experience working with clinicians on 3D advanced visualization software.
- Experience in clinical collaboration including luminary, research and beta sites projects resulting in definition, management and conveyance of design enhancements;

Technical Support Engineer (Field Customer Support)
This position will be an addition to our growing support team and plays a vital role in successful installation and support of the Ziosoft products. This is a hands-on and dynamic role to provide both field and technical support to our customers. The primary function of the Technical Support Engineer is to resolve customer issues routinely, problem troubleshooting, escalating product issues and driving them towards resolution while maintaining customer relationship to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Reporting to Technical Support Manager, the role of the Technical Support Engineer will be to support our PC-based technologies at medical and clinical facilities throughout North America and other international locations as needed. Travel is required for this position. The TSE is expected to travel approximately 50%.
Prior experience in visualization is not required.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage and implement Ziosoft products into the clinical customer facilities.
- Plan, document and communicate the activities for installation, troubleshooting and repair.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and repair Ziosoft products in the hospital and IT environments.
- Develop in-depth knowledge, at advanced user level, of Ziosoft products to provide end user assistance.
- Escalate unresolved issues to management, engineering and QA groups, and maintain the ownership of the issue to provide the solution to the customers.
- Develop and review service (and user) documentations and procedures.
- Provide technical support and field support for the Ziosoft products while driving the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist manufacturing in building the Ziosoft products.
- Assist engineering by supporting alpha and beta test and actively participate in product development cycle to provide serviceability inputs.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
Required Skills:
General proficiency encompassing:
- High energy, self motivated, team-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to travel on a short notice throughout North America and other international locations.
- Flexible and willing to work in shift environment (odd hours and weekends) for business needs.
- Proven excellent customer support skills via email, phone, or site visit.
Technical proficiency encompassing:
- Prior experience in computer application deployment.
- Proficiency in IT implementation projects/applications.
- Proficiency in networking principles, including LAN, WAN, DHCP routing, switching, name resolution, firewalls, Windows Domain and Active Directory.
- Experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging solutions (hardware and/or software) in the hospital and IT environments.
- Software troubleshooting with Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 2008 Server Operating systems.
- Hands-on DICOM and/or PACS experience is a strong plus.
- Radiology office, other clinical facility or medical device company experience preferred.
- Previous field service or support experience is highly desirable.
