zioTerm

Basic 2D/3D Application

zioTerm™ provides a free basic 2D/3D application to the academic and research community for reviewing DICOM 3.0-compatible imaging data from CT, MR, PET, ultrasound, and X-ray on a local computer connected to the internet.

zioTerm is currently not intended for patient diagnostic purposes.

How to Obtain and Use zioTerm

Internet Connection
  1. Complete and submit a zioTerm registration form.

    Ziosoft strives to ensure a quality experience for our users. ZioTerm is only compatible with English language versions of the Windows operating system. ZioTerm is currently not supported on non-English versions of the Windows operating system.

  2. Receive an e-mail with your account details and a link to set your password.
  3. Once your password has been set, you will receive a link to download the zioTerm application.
  4. Download and install the zioTerm application. You will need your user ID and password to install.
  5. Launch and log into the zioTerm application while on-line.*
  6. Import your desired image datasets into zioTerm. Datasets are only stored locally on your computer.
  7. Use zioTerm to analyze your datasets in 2D/3D.

*You can choose to use zioTerm off-line for a period of 3 days in between on-line logins. You must be on-line to obtain licenses, access the on-line help page, or download the latest zioTerm updates.

Currently only English locales have been officially validated.

  • Intel Pentium 4 (or later) or compatible

  • 1GB minimum (2 GB recommended)
Hard Drive Capacity
  • 300 MB for installation
  • ≥5 GB for image storage
Display Resolution
  • 1024x768 (XGA)

Recommended:
  • 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) with 32 bit/true color
  • 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) with 32 bit/true color
  • 1920 x 1200 (UXGA) with 32 bit/true color
